Native S/E Qld Flora and Fauna

I have picked some of the more common animals and plants as I think it will be easier for viewers to make the connection. Perhaps we can use primarily easily identified natives and only a few more obscure ones.

Mammals:

Black and Grey-headed Flying Fox

The images are coming together well...I think the dominant colours will work well in the space in terms of attracting viewers. We must just be careful of making them too dark. With the clouds, perhaps we could have moon and sun cycles as a way of illustrating time passing. I will take some shots of the city this week.

The future

River flood and river drought



For these images, it may be helpful to get some current images of the Brisbane River (so we can use the buildings that are there) as well as some images taken in 1974 (perhaps from the library) so that it is an accurate picture of what it would have been like in the flood. I wonder if the library would give us permission to use archival images for this scene?
